I just talked to Chuck and they are getting changed and ready to board a bus to get on the boat to tour Manhattan. Nick Lachey is a lucky man to get to spend time with these people!!

Hey Chuck! Believe it or not they actually show primetime TV here in New Mexico, so I’ve been able to watch all the great shows like COTC. I loved it! The first night you guys sang, I was so proud to be from Cincinnati. I was actually choked up watching all the interviews, the selection process, and the “shots” of my beloved hometown. I thought the Bumblebee was just AWESOME! I’ve been talking up the show to my fellow teachers and my students at Polk Middle School in Albuquerque. Most don’t watch “American” TV. Go figure! They sure missed out tonight when the winners were announced. I literally jumped up and down with excitment! I was so pleased that the “good guys” won. I agree with you, the other choirs did a lot of solo stuff with backup singers! But not Cincy! Anyway, I’ved enjoyed the blog and look forward to more, so make sure you keep up with it so I can continue to follow. I’m glad to hear that Nick is so cool and down to Earth. Just confirms what I thought of him all along! Enjoy enjoy enjoy! Happy Holidays!

YES! What a great moment for you and the choir! We had a blast watching you all week long! Especially last night! I was so nervous but you guys were definitely the best CHOIR! We must celebrate when you get back in town! Congrats! Very Happy for you!

Congratulations! I’m so happy your choir won, you really were the best. You had the most variety of genres and performed them successfully, took the biggest risks, sang the most technically difficult song, didn’t rest on your laurels and coast after a strong performance, and you were showcased as a *choir* rather than two soloists and 18 backup singers, plus your stage presence was warm and energetic. I appreciated that Nick kept the focus on the 20 of you (and Children’s Hospital) and came across as one of the gang rather than make it “all about ME!” and use you and the experience in general as a disposable prop for his own ego. Nick was a graceful winner and I’m sure had he lost he would have been a graceful runner-up. Lachey and Team Cincy – talented, fun, fearless and class act all around! Cheers!
